AMA Education System marks another milestone after holding its groundbreaking ceremony at the future site of the AMA University in General Trias, Cavite last September 13, 2013. This will be the 42nd campus in the growing network of campuses under the AMA Education System in the country.
A University Town is also envisioned to be developed in this expansive 50- hectare land located inside Ara Vista Village. Considered to be the first of its kind in the Philippines, the University Town shall serve as a multi-use development site with a primary institutional complex built against a park-like setting.
AMAES executive officials headed by Engineer Arnel F. Hibo, First Vice President and AMACC Cluster Head were joined by local government officials including General Trias Vice- Mayor Maurito “Morit” Sison, Municipal Councilor Kerby Salazar, Cavite Provincial Administrator for Community Affairs Redel John Dionisio, Barangay Biclatan Chairman Rogelio Caraos and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Director Leticia Ogbac.
A time capsule was buried to commemorate the event and was followed by the unveiling of the billboard advertisement of the future site.
