• AMA University renews Memorandum of Agreement with Rotary Club of New Manila East

    On the week of its 34th Foundation Anniversary on November 25, 2014, AMA University (AMAU) renewed its MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT with the Rotary Club of New Manila East (RCNME) District 3780 at Annabel’s Restaurant, Tomas Morato Ave., Quezon City. AMAU and RCNME have mutually agreed that it is necessary for them to enter into a partnership to establish a network in pursuance to the theme: “Rotary-School: Aiming Towards Sustenance of the Adopted Community”. The primary objective is for both to establish a strong network to enable them to achieve a common goal of promoting and enhancing a partnership of service to the adopted community, Brgy. Bahay Toro.

    AMA University was represented by its School Administrator, Engr. Alvin B. Rodriguez and RCNME by its President Mr. Edgardo Cruz. The former has presented to the public RCNME’s scholars who are enjoying full scholarship benefits at the University. The MOA was signed in the presence of the Deans- Prof. Demeke Bayyou, College of Engineering; Prof. Allan Burgos, College of Computer Studies; Prof. Mary Jean Jayobo, College of Business Administration; Prof. Dorothy Agnis, College of Arts and Sciences; Prof. Ma. Cristina Bandola, Tech-Voc and the Officers of the University Remedios Lapso, CESC Directress, Mark Ross Rubio, Placement Manager, Alexis Olivar QA Manager and QA Head Josie Balon. The Vice-Pres of RCNME Demetrio Laxamana Jr, Secretary Manuel Gorospe and Service Project Director Rodolfo Guasa likewise represented RCNME on this event.

    Indeed, AMA University proves that it promotes and strengthens a network of cooperation with institutions like RCNME to serve the community.
